Stablecoins

Token that are labelled as stablecoins are consider to be worth $1, and will be exchanged at a hard 1:1 rate between each other, and in any trade involving a stablecoin. However, each time a transaction involves a stablecoin, a security check is performed with Chainlink to ensure its peg. The transaction will fail if the price is bellow $0.995, or above $1.005.

List of stablecoins supported by Tangent:

• USDT;

• USDC;

• DAI;

• FRAX;

• crvUSD;

• TUSD;

• sUSD;

• USDP;

• pyUSD;

• GHO;

• USDP.

In order to be integrated into Tangent, a stablecoin needs to have a Chainlink price-feed.
