Protocol Overview

Tangent is an exotic and permissionless DEX (Decentralized Exchange) built on top of Curve Finance, designed to seamlessly perform a variety of on-chain orders, such as Perpetual Market Orders & Limit Orders.

By using an Oracle-based Pricing Engine rather than liquidity pools, Tangent incentivizes orders executions by external parties by artificially generating arbitrage opportunities.

In its v1, Tangent will support the following product:

• A permissionless Spot Market: enables the creation of Perpetual Market Orders and Limit Orders between any assets listed on the platform.
